Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Air Quality Project Manager near Omaha, NE.

Direct Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation:

  • $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 yearly
  • Base salary, plus eligibility for discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

Seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services across the power, industrial, commercial, transportation, and manufacturing industries. This role offers challenging work with significant project variety and opportunities for advancement within a dynamic and growing Air & Noise practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare air permit application packages and associated documentation.
  • Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal air quality requirements.
  • Calculate and estimate routine emissions, greenhouse gases, and maintenance, start-up, and shutdown emissions.
  • Work with clients and team members to manage projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Assist with multi-media-based questions and documentation, such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and filings pursuant to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related science or engineering discipline from an accredited program, with a minimum of 7 years (10 years preferred) of relevant experience.
  • Completion of a master's degree in a related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
  • Previous consulting experience in air pollution permitting and compliance, multimedia environmental compliance audits, environmental management systems, and report writing preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local air regulations, with emphasis on the Clean Air Act—including New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, New Source Performance Standards, Title V Permitting, and Title VI Ozone Depleting Substances.
  • Working knowledge of air quality dispersion models such as AERMOD, AERSCREEN, CALPUFF, VISCREEN, PLUVUE, and SLAB is a plus.
  • Sustainability background is a plus.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex requests.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
