We're seeking an Assembly Operator to work at a leading manufacturer in Wyandotte, MI for a temporary-to-hire type opportunity with advancement opportunities and full benefits. **No Experience Required - those with server or cashier experience with solid work longevity are encouraged to apply**

Pay Rate:

  • $15.50/hr. for 1st or 2nd shift
  • $16.50/hr. for 3rd shift
Shifts: 
  • 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm), overtime as needed
  • 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm), overtime as needed
  • 3rd shift (Monday-Friday 10pm - 6 am) overtime as needed
Requirements:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs throughout shift

What's a typical day as a Assembly Operator? You'll: 
•Perform visual inspection of finished parts for defects. Perform minor finishing and basic assembly operations.
• Required to perform all duties in a safe, efficient manner.
• Accurately record data into plant's electronic database systems.
• Problem solves alone, and with others, to resolve equipment problems.
• May use rulers, clippers and other similar small tools to complete assigned inspection/task.
• Read standard operating instructions to familiarize self with operating and safety procedures.
• Able to wear and utilize all personal protective equipment (PPE) specified by the organization.
• Perform safety and quality check of assigned equipment on a routine basis and actively participates and supports the safety program.
 • Support efficient movement of materials from inspection/assembly lines to staging area for transfer to warehouse.
• Complete equipment changeover operations to ensure safety, quality and productivity are maintained.
• Maintains housekeeping standards
• Must possess acute visual acuity, attention to detail and organizational acumen.
• May train other personnel on unit operations within the department.
