Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Assembly Operator to support daily production using high-speed, automated assembly equipment. This role involves machine operation, basic adjustments, quality checks, and routine maintenance while working in a team-driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate assigned high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machines.

  • Perform equipment setups, minor repairs, and major adjustments as required.

  • Conduct quality inspections following the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and record measurements per specification.

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine maintenance tasks.

Examples of Daily Tasks
  • Adjust tooling (e.g., sharpening/conditioning tools, checking height of spring-loaded pins, verifying keying features, and setting up bend or insertion stations).

  • Replace or adjust machine components including sensors, punches, dies, stock parts, air cylinders, and belts.

  • Set or adjust housing feeds and ensure they meet operational standards.

  • Use precision measuring tools such as height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopes to verify product quality.

  • Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, restart production, and package finished products.

Skill Level & Experience
  • Ability to learn and apply company policies, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.

  • Comfortable following established procedures and working in a structured production environment.

  • Medical device industry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a clean room or controlled environment.
