About the Role 

As an Assembly Operator, you'll play a vital role in assembling medical device components with accuracy and care, following detailed work instructions and strict regulatory standards. Your focus on quality, safety, and consistency will help ensure that every product leaving the line meets the highest medical manufacturing standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assemble medical device components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and FDA-compliant standards. 

  • Operate and maintain specialized medical device assembly tools and equipment safely and effectively. 

  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with medical and company standards. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and contamination control within a clean room environment. 

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols. 

  • Identify, report, and document any product, equipment, or process deviations. 

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and quality targets. 

  • Accurately complete production logs, inspection reports, and traceability documentation. 

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and product quality. 

What You'll Need Required: 

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions in English. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. 

  • Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. 

  • Willingness to work in a regulated clean room environment and wear PPE. 

  • Basic math and measurement skills. 

  • Dependable and safety-minded with a positive attitude. 

Preferred: 

  • 2+ years of assembly experience in a regulated manufacturing setting. 

  • Prior experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing. 

  • Familiarity with GMP and clean room procedures. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. 

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods. 

  • Strong near vision (with or without corrective lenses). 

  • Ability to wear clean room attire for long durations. 

Work Environment 

  • Clean, climate-controlled, and highly regulated production facility. 

  • Moderate noise levels and fast-paced production environment. 

  • Occasional overtime based on production needs. 

  • Interview and skills assessment required prior to hire.
