  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

    What You'll Do: As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting production. Your responsibilities will include:
    • Assembling and inspecting braking system components (e.g., cam brakes, ASA) using required tools, gauges, and equipment
    • Picking parts, following a kitting manual, and creating kits for the production areas in the plant 
    • Maintaining inventory integrity with daily cycle counts and keeping detailed records
    • Monitoring quality and making necessary adjustments to keep products within specifications.
    • Maintaining a clean, organized work area and ensuring all equipment is safely locked out when not in use


    Key Skills & Requirements:
    • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle automotive components of various sizes
    • Dependability, punctuality, a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
    • Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
     

    Physical Demands:
    • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
    • Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, reach, and handle objects
    • Close vision and focus adjustment required
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment in resolving production issues
