Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

What's a typical day as Associate Sourcing Manager? You'll be:
• Supporting the development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in alignment with divisional business objectives, reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager.
• Leading cross-functional teams to create strategic commodity plans, consolidation strategies, and spend/supply assessments considering total product life cycle needs.
• Participating in sourcing analysis, selection processes, and performing cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.
• Monitoring supplier performance and conducting regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and develop effective procurement strategies.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; experience in strategic sourcing is a must.
• Possess strong negotiation skills and experience in developing and enforcing supplier contracts and agreements.
• Are proficient in analyzing market conditions and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers, with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
