Job Summary:
Kelly Engineering is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Rockwell Automation and PLC systems for a contract opportunity split between Flint and Bay City, MI. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently troubleshooting complex systems, interpreting electrical diagrams, and ensuring compliance with General Motors (GM) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and control system issues independently.
- Configure and maintain Rockwell Automation/PLC systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and system diagrams.
- Ensure all work aligns with GM standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and upgrades.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation and PLC programming.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with GM engineering and safety standards.
