What You'll Be Doing:
As a Avionics/ Elec Tech II, you'll help keep production running smoothly by:

Demonstrates technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.

Installs and functionally tests electrical/avionics components and systems per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations, providing timely and accurate repairs of malfunctioning systems.

Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring using proper techniques such as splicing, soldering, and pinning.

Performs and complies with engineering changes and modifications as required.

Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.

Ensures all work performed is properly documented and ready for inspection.

Tests and maintains electronic systems, components, and test equipment.

Complies with company programs (FOD, tool control, 5S) and all safety regulations.

Adapts to sudden schedule changes as required.

Supports aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.

Performs other duties as assigned.
This Job Might be a Great Fit for you if you have:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two (2) years of related experience

A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred
-
FCC certification preferred
-
NCATT certification preferred
-
Preferred proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, structural systems).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
