What's a typical day as an Avionics Installer I? You'll be:
  • Assisting in the installation, modification, and fabrication of aircraft wiring and electrical components.

  • Using blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings to complete tasks accurately.

  • Supporting wire harness fabrication and component terminations.

  • Completing tasks within designated time frames while maintaining high quality standards.

  • Keeping accurate logs, records, and documentation as required.

  • Following safety, tool control, FOD prevention, and 5S programs.

  • Properly maintaining shop tools and equipment.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • General knowledge of aviation or electrical regulations and customer specifications.

  • Ability to use a multimeter.

  • Entry-level experience (six months schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical preferred).

  • A Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly (preferred).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  • Strong written, verbal, and computer skills.
