Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Companies: Kelly® and GE Vernova
• Location: Onsite, Schenectady, NY
• Pay Rate: $26-28/hour (DOE)
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST

 
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze contract information for project setup in various systems.
• Establish project payment schedules and coordinate necessary backup documentation.
• Prepare and send invoices related to contracts.
• Participate in credit release and revenue recognition calls.
• Reconcile and book revenue accurately.
• Conduct quarterly reconciliation of projects and general ledger accounts.
• Adhere to established accounting practices and policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors on project audits.
• Test and provide feedback on current and new applications.
• Maintain customer relationships for inquiries and credit releases.
• Manage database maintenance and storage of closed project records.

 
Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma and 2-5 years of experience in financial, purchasing, or sourcing roles with significant Excel usage.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of information.
• Self-reliant, proactive, and project-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Capable of applying informed judgment in budget execution.
