Biomedical Equipment Technician
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group has an opening for a Biomedical Equipment Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global medical device clients in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role is eligible for medical benefits, paid time off including vacation (PTO), and holidays, 401K, and annual performance reviews.  If you're passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.  This client is a company that's leading the way in medical device industry.

  • Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Pay: $27-28 an hour.
Responsibilities
  • Provide biomedical equipment technical support, to include Installation support .
  • First response troubleshooting Equipment non-routine maintenance Routine maintenance Vendor support and logistics Authorship of Standard Operating Procedures related to equipment use.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.
  • Quality-check QC appropriate documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.
  • Routine maintenance
  • Participate in quarterly audit sweeps to maintain regulatory and departmental compliance. Communicate personnel issue escalation through KOCG Operations Manager.
  • Vendor support and logistics
  •  Authorship of Standard Operating Procedures related to equipment use.
  • Assist in equipment disposal and liquidation procedures
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements 21 CFR Part 58 , Good Laboratory Practice Standards and departmental procedures. 
  • Quality-check QC appropriate documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.
  • Participate in required annual health surveillance program including the completion of blood-borne pathogen training and respirator fit testing, as needed .
  • Participate in quarterly audit

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology required or equivalent military experience and training.
  • Certified Biomedical Technician certification is preferred.
  • Skills and Experience: 3 years of experience as an equipment technician
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration on applicable equipment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply instructions from manufacture s technical manuals.
  • Excellent organizational and math skills.
  • Ability to consistently follow directions and work under pressure.
  • Team-player; ability to work well with people of varying opinions and backgrounds.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be a proficiency user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
