Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Bolingbrook. Candidates must have minimum 5 years' experience in the LTL and Full Truckload brokerage sales. Must also have a book of business.

This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Salary:  $60k - $80k, plus commission
Schedule: Mon-Fri daytime hours

Responsibilities:
Expand the client base with new business prospecting - both warm-contacts and cold calling, identifying, and developing opportunities through a holistic customer- centric sales approach.
Use your existing book of business and contacts (if available), within the industry – LTL, truckload, brokerage, consolidation, warehousing, etc.
Utilize your sales skills to providing clear innovative solutions to clients, influencing them to utilize best-in-class services.
Reach and exceed sales goals by focusing on new business growth opportunities.

Qualifications
Candidates must have minimum 5 years' experience in the LTL and Full Truckload brokerage sales.
Must have a book of business.
Can manage priorities and target multiple clients.
Like to be working within an entrepreneurial environment.
Have outstanding sales skills and a strong attention to detail.
Prior Inside Sales or Customer Relations Management within the logistics industry.
Be results-driven.
A minimum of 5 years inside sales or customer relationship management experience within the logistics - LTL, truckload, brokerage, consolidation, supply chain industry.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
New business prospecting skills that deliver.
Collaborating with a team first mentality.
