Description

Kelly Service is seeking a temporary skilled Cash Applications and Collections Specialist to join the Accounts Receivable team in Philadelphia, PA. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate cash application and effective collections from customers while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:

  • Post payments, including lockbox, ACH transfers, credit cards, and cash.
  • Contact customers with past-due accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collect payments and confirm billing details.
  • Perform weekly cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review customer aging reports.
  • Manage high-volume key accounts, ensuring timely payment and positive customer relationships.
  • Review aging reports and reconcile delinquencies through customer portals, addressing disputes and erroneous deductions.
  • Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales teams to research and resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Investigate chargebacks and deductions, review supporting documentation, and process adjustments as needed.
  • Perform account reconciliations and generate miscellaneous reports as required.
  • Support audits and assist with month-end closing duties.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is preferred.
  • Proven ability to resolve and reduce chargebacks and deductions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required; Spanish or additional languages preferred).
  • Payrate: $25.00 an hour
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 100% onsite
