Kelly Science & Clinical is looking for reliable and professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our team. In this non-clinical contract role, you'll play a vital part in a dementia screening program within nursing home settings. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills in a low-stress, independent position that doesn't involve direct patient care but still makes a meaningful impact in senior care communities. What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for administering a single, specific component of the Creyos Dementia Screening Tool. This focused role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Travel to assigned nursing home facilities as scheduled.
- Administer one specific component of the Creyos Dementia Screening tool, following all training and instructions.
- Provide a pleasant and positive experience for patients through excellent customer service, a positive approach, and a welcoming demeanor.
- Engage residents respectfully and patiently during the assessment process.
- Ensure accurate execution of the assigned screening task, adhering strictly to protocol.
- Record and submit data or observations as directed.
- Communicate effectively with on-site staff and report to a clinical lead or program coordinator.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold resident confidentiality at all times.
- Represent Kelly Services and the client organization professionally and courteously.
- Active CNA or CMA certification in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local travel is required).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills.
- Self-directed and reliable, with the ability to work independently in a clinical environment.
- Previous experience with elderly or cognitively impaired populations is preferred.
- Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, employer references, and background check.
- Monday-Friday; Day hours
Work Conditions
This is a non-clinical role with no lifting, physical care, or medication administration involved. You'll be working in nursing home environments with mostly geriatric patients. Travel between facilities within a local region may be required, and work is task-based, potentially involving variable scheduling (weekdays and/or weekends).
