School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Serving a Forward-Focused School District in Southeastern North Carolina | 2025–2026 School Year
Are you passionate about supporting students' growth and independence through functional, student-centered care? We're seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to serve a school district in Southeastern North Carolina that is actively refocusing its mission and investing in leadership, equity, and whole-child success.
This district is committed to creating inclusive learning environments, expanding authentic learning experiences, and preparing students for life beyond the classroom. As a COTA, you'll be a vital part of that vision—empowering students to participate fully in their educational journey.
What You'll Do:
• Provide occupational therapy services to K–12 students
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings
• Develop and implement IEP-based interventions focused on functional access to learning
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school-based teams
• Support students' independence in school routines, motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
