Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading company in the jewelry sector, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Attleboro, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!
Salary:
- $28 - $32+ (depending on experience)
Shift:
- 1st shift: Mon – Thurs | 630am to 430pm and Friday 630am to 1030 am

Job Summary:
The Chain Machine Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. This includes performing a variety of tasks related to production, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The successful candidate will ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and policies. The Chain Machine Technician works in close collaboration with the other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Set up and operate jewelry chain-making machines
- Perform regular maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize production downtime
- Inspect finished chain products for quality, size, and finish consistency
- Maintain accurate production logs and work according to detailed specifications
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are followed in the work area
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily output goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred
- Previous experience with jewelry chain machines or precision mechanical equipment required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- High attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Comfortable working with small, delicate components
