Sr. Principal Engineer (disposable medical devices)

 

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Work Location: Round Lake, IL (60073)
  • Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on DIRECT RELATED experience and meeting the required qualifications up to $60 - 70/hr.
  • Type: W2 ONLY contract (NO C2C OR THIRD-PARTY arrangements can be made for this role)
  • Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents
  Job Summary:
  • Leads cross functional teams through the planning, execution and completion of a large scale program or several small projects with complex features.
  • Leads projects within product lifecycle management (PDLM) and change control management (CCM) process, from initiation through closure.
  • Applies state-of-the-art techniques, in the area of expertise for new product development and product improvements.
  • Independently plans, schedules, and leads cross-functional teams in detailed phases of the engineering work in a project.
  • Applies a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside the primary area of expertise, toward product development and improvements.
  • Plans, executes and functionally directs important engineering assignments, which require independent judgment. Utilize engineering tools (e.g. DMAIC, FMEA, Design of Experiments, Statistical Analysis, etc).
  • Generation of technical documentation in support of project deliverables and requirements.

 

Required:
  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • 8-10yrs of experience with focus areas around leading and/or managing technical projects.
  • Candidate should have experience with disposable medical devices (e.g. IV sets), manufacturing processes, and product development.
