Description
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for an entry level QC Lab Analyst position at a polymer company in the Northwest Dallas area. The overall responsibility of this role is to test raw materials, intermediate blends, and final products manufactured by the production department.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Perform physical property analyses such as viscosity, cure time, tensile strength, elongation, etc.
- Document the test results in a database
- Perform initial troubleshooting of issues which may arise during routine analysis
- Make batch adjustments as needed
- Support R&D by assisting with testing of experimental formulas or manufacture of small batches
- Keep QC records and regulatory documents organized and filed
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals and waste according to company policies
- Comply with all company occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
- AS or BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
- OR 1 year of applicable job experience
- Dependability and punctuality are absolutely required
- Ability to work 2nd shift
- Basic math to determine test results and batch adjustments
- Computer literacy
