Kelly Services is seeking a Clamp Forklift operator for a busy Metals manufacturer located in Franklin, TN 37064 Job Title: Sit Down Clamp Forklift Operator
Job Shift: 2nd
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:30pm
Pay: $18/hour
Summary:
Join our team as a Sit Down Clamp Forklift Driver in a metals manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months of experience or a forklift certification. As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials within our facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down Clamp forklift to move and transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas using the forklift.
• Stack and organize products in designated areas.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing environment OR a valid forklift certification.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, including loading, unloading, and stacking materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
