Kelly Services in hiring temp to hire CNC Technicians on behalf of a locally owned, solutions-driven manufacturer known for its precision CNC machining, electro-mechanical assembly, and custom fabrication.

$27.00 - $33.00 Based on Experience

Voluntary OT Available

Monday – Thursday OR Tuesday – Friday 5:00 am-3:30pm (Switches Each Quarter)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC Machine Tool utilizing standard work holding, existing fixtures, and standard tooling.
  • Consistently operates multiple spindles or operations with above average ability in VMC, HMC, 4th axis mill, 5 axis mill, and lathe while maintaining production standards.
  • Responsible for quality, production standards, safety, scrap, and documentation records. Make necessary fixture and tooling offset adjustments to maintain size.
  • Change cutting tools as required.
  • Conduct 1st piece and in process inspection of components to verify print and process specifications are being met.
  • Keep accurate documentation and piece count.
  • 5S Maintain cleanliness and organization of machine tool, workstation and general area. Move product throughout the facility by use of pallet jack and tow motor.
Required Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school or specific training certification pertaining to the precision machining industry highly preferred.
  • Proficient with basic shop math. 
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experienced with precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometer and dial indicator.
  • Ability to work in team environment to achieve established goals per a production schedule.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours minimum.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. without the support of Crane or Hoist.
