Company Overview: 
A well-established manufacturing company in Torrance is seeking a highly skilled?Collections Specialist?to join its finance team. This role is designed for professionals with a strong background in?B2B collections, particularly those who have worked in?enterprise-level environments?such as?big box retail,?manufacturing, or?e-commerce platforms. Experience with?Amazon B2B collections?is strongly preferred. 

Position Summary: 
The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing a backlog of business-to-business receivables, driving resolution of outstanding balances, and contributing to process improvements across the collections function. This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Backlog Management:?Prioritize and resolve aged receivables to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow. 

  • Collections Execution:?Conduct proactive outreach to business clients, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure timely resolution of accounts. 

  • Process Improvement:?Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend enhancements to streamline collections workflows. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:?Partner with internal departments including Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve disputes and align on collection strategies. 

  • Reporting and Analysis:?Prepare and analyze aging reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present actionable insights to leadership. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • B2B collections experience?in a corporate or enterprise setting. 

  • Demonstrated success managing collections for?large business accounts. 

  • Strong proficiency in collections systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). 

  • Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with?Amazon B2B collections. 

  • Background in?manufacturing,?big box retail, or?high-volume transactional environments. 


$28- $30/hr DOE

Temp to Hire

Torrance, Ca. 

7am- 3:30pm

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days work from home
