Construction Project Manager

Kelly Services is currently seeking a  Construction Project Manager for one of our top clients in Athens, GA and Cornelia, GA.

  • Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group KellyOCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager plays a vital role in guiding and managing construction projects from beginning to end. Projects primarily focus on utilities and infrastructure projects. Your focus will be on implementing effective project management practices, optimizing construction processes, and fostering strong team leadership.

As a Construction Project Manager placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:

*Must have experience getting permits, working in a regulatory environment and end to end construction projects. 
Project Planning & Scheduling:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
    • If the project scope is unclear and additional site study is required, we will proactively seek CAR 0 funding to gain a comprehensive understanding of the construction space conditions. This approach will ensure that we are well-informed and can make the best decisions moving forward.
    • Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
    • Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors necessary for project execution.

Budget & Cost Management:
    • Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Continuously update the project cash flow and communicate any potential risks as needed.
    • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation.
    • Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions to enhance project profitability.

Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Lead and manage on-site project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and site supervisors.
    • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.

Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
    • Enforce safety protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular quality inspections and address any quality control issues that arise during the project.

Important information: This position is recruited by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.  Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
