Description

Position: Custodial/Janitorial Associate
Location: Local Warehousing Facility in Pooler, GA
Status: Immediate Start
Compensation: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Opportunity: Excellent temp-to-hire position with a reputable company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks within the warehouse facility
  • Sanitize restrooms, mop floors, manage paper towel supplies, and dispose of trash
  • Maintain clean break rooms by sweeping, mopping, and managing trash cans
  • Regularly check and maintain warehouse trash bins and ensure outdoor cleanliness
  • Clean office spaces including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and vacuuming as needed

Requirements:

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in janitorial or custodial roles
  • Ability to adapt to a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to train on using high-reach lift trucks for overhead cleaning
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Capability to train on operating a floor scrubber
  • Understanding of safe chemical handling, including caustics and acids
  • Proficiency in using a pressure washer safely
  • Competency in reading, writing, and communicating in English to comprehend job-related terminology
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, squat, stoop, and carry items
  • Capacity to work in warm, dusty environments
  • Strong organizational skills to enhance job efficiency
  • Precision and timeliness in work execution

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in warehousing environments is a plus
