Customer Service/Financial Services Rep Job Summary:
Join a medical practice as a Financial Services Representative and become an integral part of our team. Based in our dynamic office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth financial interactions between patients and the practice. With your expertise, you will manage patient and insurance billing, providing crucial support in navigating the financial aspects of healthcare.
Job Specifications:

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with patients regarding their accounts through verbal and written correspondence.
  • Prepare surgical estimates and set up payment plans with patients.
  • Process patient credit card payments and collaborate with attorney offices for account resolutions.
  • Review monthly delinquency reports and refer delinquent accounts to collections.
  • Handle bankruptcy notices and communicate with insurance companies to ensure claims are processed accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, etc.) and related processes.
  • Proficiency in computer and telephone skills.
  • Familiarity with medical office practices, terminology, and abbreviations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
