Logistics Customer Service
Position Summary:
Coordinates inbound/outbound shipments based on customer demands and priorities. This position requires experience in a multiclient facility and coordination between Operations and Client Services.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse upon the direction of Operations Client SLAs.
- Perform routine data input related to warehouse inbound and outbound moves using SAP.
- Identify and report any shortages, overages, etc.
- Complete daily operations reports with speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Communicate with customers, warehouse associates, drivers, and leadership.
- Follow all workplace processes and standards in support of ISO-9001 Quality certification.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Preferred: Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay dependable by maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing Environment.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (6+ hours).
- Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.
- Environment: Office / Warehouse Dock Environment with occasional weather exposure.
- Moderate to loud noise level.
- Understand and adhere to policies and procedures for protecting information assets, customer transaction integrity, and appropriate use of access privileges.
- Comply with all provisions of company conduct and system use policies.
- Protect company assets and confidential information according to confidentiality policies and security procedures.
- Report actual or suspected security incidents as per the Incident Reporting Process.
