Are you seeking a Customer Service Opportunity? This is an in office position located in Palmyra, NY. This position is accountable for providing quality service by handling inbound orders in a customer contact center. The successful candidate will perform duties requiring a deep understanding of company policies and procedures, including pricing, contract review, product specifications, quote/order entry, and credit requests. Essential Functions
- Perform thorough reviews on incoming orders, including shipping and freight terms, to ensure accurate data entry and that products are shipped according to customer requests.
- Act as the primary contact and liaison for customers, area managers, regional managers, and internal departments (Marketing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Shipping) to clarify quotations and orders.
- Process sales order changes and notify appropriate individuals following company policy. Edit and correct orders as necessary.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by working cooperatively across departments and participating in team meetings.
- Develop and maintain a basic working knowledge of products, services, and company policies to better serve the customer base.
- Building partnerships and working collectively to meet shared objectives.
- Handling difficult situations and customer concerns effectively.
- Managing a high-volume workload and following through on all tasks.
- Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders regarding opportunities or challenges.
- The ability to juggle multiple programs and tasks simultaneously.
- Education: Associate degree in Business or equivalent professional experience.
- Communication Skills: Professional verbal and written communication, along with strong active listening skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using a variety of applications within a Windows environment. ERP Experience preferred
- Adaptability: Ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced, evolving working environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical abilities and high organizational skills.
