Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Temporary)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Duration: Temporary – through March 2026
About the Role:
Join our team as a Customer Service Representative, providing essential support for our broadcast station's programming, membership, and general customer inquiries. You'll serve as the first point of contact—both by phone and in person—delivering prompt, positive, and detailed assistance to both internal employees and external customers.
Essential Duties:
- Communicate with constituents and colleagues in a positive and professional manner
- Provide information about programs, services, and general station matters via phone and email
- Perform account lookups, data entry, and payment processing across multiple systems
- Resolve customer issues received through phone and email contact, and escalate as required
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities throughout the day
- Ensure the highest quality service in accordance with station guidelines and priorities
- Assist with receptionist coverage as needed
- Attention to detail
- Punctuality and reliability
- High energy, helpful attitude—the first face and voice that teammates and customers interact with
- Experience in a high-volume customer service environment
- Database software experience preferred
- Ability to handle moderate phone volume (50-100 calls, primarily transfers)
- General proficiency with Google Drive docs
- Organizational skills and facility services (e.g., parking validation requests)
- Experience supervising others is a plus
- Office-based role with extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and phone use
- Some standing or walking required; may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Professional dress code (business casual on Fridays)
- National 7-year criminal background check required; candidates can start pending screening completion
- No drug screening
