Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking an Accessioning Data Administrator for a contract-to-hire (temp-to-permanent, ~6–12 month conversion) position at a biotechnology client in St. Louis, MO. Position Overview:The Accessioning Data Administrator will perform essential administrative and organizational tasks in support of diagnostic testing workflows. This is a non-laboratory role and does not involve handling biological specimens. All work is performed in an office setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Review large volumes of specimen requisitions within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and verify data accurately, making corrections or updates as needed
- Log received specimens in Excel, including logistics, discrepancies, and updated client information
- Track and resolve discrepant specimen paperwork to ensure timely processing
- Organize, sort, and store physical requisitions in a retrievable and compliant manner
- Collaborate with the Client Services team to meet required turnaround times
- Scan and upload requisition documents into the LIMS system
- Identify workflow or system inefficiencies and recommend improvements to management
- Act as liaison between lab operations, client services, and data teams to ensure data accuracy and process compliance
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Previous experience in a clinical, research, or diagnostic lab environment
- Experience in administrative support roles related to specimen or data management
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in administrative, laboratory, or clinical support roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume data entry
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Pay Rate: $21–$23 per hour
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexibility is needed for an earlier start when necessary
