Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Data Examiner II with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES) – Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME), a critical state agency supporting Arizona communities through benefits and eligibility services.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 1 year

What's a typical day as a Data Examiner II? You will:
  • Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Prepare, process, and validate eligibility-related documentation

  • Barcode, scan, index, upload, and re-index documents in OnBase and/or HEAPlus

  • Ensure documents are assigned to the correct eligibility type

  • Send notices and emails to applicants as required

  • Update and correct address information in state systems

  • Document actions taken and research returned mail

  • Sort, prepare, and route returned mail appropriately

  • Follow established administrative, office, and unit guidelines

  • Collaborate with team members and escalate issues when necessary

  • Provide bilingual support or use translation services as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills

  • Proven attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative environment
