Pay Rate: ~$21.70 per hour

Location: Remote (must provide own computer/laptop and is in Arizona)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM

Employment Type: 10-month contract with possible extension or permanent hire

Process updates to cases in the surveillance database to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Conduct data cleaning and quality checks on surveillance datasets.
-
Maintain and update protocols for surveillance processes.
-
Perform routing of infectious disease reports and laboratory results (scanned and electronic).
-
Train staff and epidemiologists on routing processes and consult with disease data entry teams.

Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) groups and contribute to process improvements.

3–5 years of data entry/data quality experience.
-
Experience identifying data quality issues and routing errors.
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Experience working with medical records.
-
(Preferred) Familiarity with MEDSIS and/or PRISM systems.

Ability to provide your own working computer/laptop.
