Document Control Assistant – Temporary (Document Scanning Project)
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 2–3 Months (Temporary Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (6–6.5 hours/day)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $16.35/hr
About the Opportunity:
It is a critical document preservation and digitization project and is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our temporary team. This role plays a key part in preserving important state records by preparing and scanning documents into a secure digital platform.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport boxes of documents to and from scanning stations.

Carefully handle sensitive documents to maintain their integrity.

Operate scanning equipment to create accurate, high-quality digital files.

Upload scanned documents to the designated online system.

Maintain an orderly and clean work area.

Follow all safety protocols and document handling procedures.
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.

Basic computer proficiency, especially with scanning and file management.

Punctual, organized, and able to meet daily deadlines.
