Kelly Services is seeking a qualified Document Control Specialist to work at Pratt and Whitney in Midland, GA. This is a 6-12 month assignment with possibility for permanent hire. The ideal candidate has an easy going personality and enjoys working independently while organizing, processing and storing project-related documentation.

Job Description:
- The Document Controller will support the Quality Team by systematically organizing, processing, and storing project-related documentation. This individual will work independently to ensure all engine and module documentation is accurate, accessible, and securely managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain engine folders on the computer for project documentation.
- Create and manage subfolders for various modules, ensuring logical and accessible filing structures.
- Remove staples, paper clips, and other bindings to prepare paperwork for scanning and storage.
- Prepare cover sheets for each module to standardize documentation sets.
- Sort and separate paperwork by module for efficient documentation management.
- Scan module paperwork and related tags, saving digital copies to the appropriate folders.
- Repeat the above process for each module until documentation for all modules is complete.
- Transfer Manufacturing Execution System (MES) routers into the corresponding engine or module folders.
- Physically bind completed sets of paperwork and attach green tags as required.
- Securely store all physical paperwork in designated storage areas.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with file management, scanning, and general MS Office operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to seek clarification or assistance when required, while remaining self-motivated.
- Must be comfortable working independently and managing their workload.
- Supportive team environment, with staff present for questions, but the Document Controller will not be working directly alongside others.
