Description

Join our dynamic team as a Document Control Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in processing, storing, and distributing controlled quality system documentation. This position is essential for maintaining our quality standards and ensuring seamless operations. You will utilize both conventional paper-based methods and electronic database systems to manage engineering change notices/orders (ECN/ECO) in accordance with our standard operating procedures. - Location: Irvine, CA
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
- Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage controlled quality system documentation using both paper and electronic methods.
  • Handle engineering change notices/orders (ECN/ECO) per standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Store approved documentation in both physical and electronic file vaults to meet quality system requirements.
  • Enter and monitor data in the ECN/ECO database, distributing reports to assist document control and engineering teams.
  • Verify and update data in the Pansophic system (MS1829) to manage shipping capabilities based on hold/release forms.
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies in the document management system to ensure all documents are accessible to users.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in document control or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using database systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and engineering change processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
