Job Title: Manufacturing/Warehouse Associate - Dryer Operator (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Avenel, New Jersey
Salary: $22.50 per hour 
Shift: Monday–Friday

  • 1st Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM (Training: 6–8 weeks)
  • Open to working rotating shift after training. 
Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Dryer Operator at our Avenel, NJ facility. This is a temp-to-hire role, offering hands-on training for 6–8 weeks before transitioning to a 2nd or 3rd shift. The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing or machining, can work safely with chemicals, and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain industrial dryer equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
  • Perform regular cleaning and preventative maintenance of dryers and related machinery.
  • Work with chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
  • Flexibly move (“float”) between different departments or work areas as required.
  • Record and document production data accurately.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, machining, or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work with chemicals and follow strict safety guidelines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
  • Willingness to train on first shift and transition to a 2nd or 3rd shift.
  • Team player with strong communication and adaptability skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
