Job Title: Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler I (Electrical Panel Technician)
Pay rate: $23.50/HR
AM Shift - 5:30A - 2PM M-F
Job Overview:
As an Electrical Panel Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels from start to finish. You will lay out back panels and doors according to schematics and company standards, working with production drawings and bills of material. This role involves installing and wiring electrical and other devices in compliance with company and industry requirements, as well as modifying enclosures using hand tools and machinery as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics, production drawings, and bills of material
- Lay out back panels and doors to company standards
- Install and wire electrical and auxiliary devices per requirements
- Modify enclosures, fabricate brackets, and perform light metal fabrication for panel assembly
- Maintain accurate project documentation; track progress by checking off and marking production drawings
- Communicate with Design Engineers, Project Managers, and team members to resolve issues and ensure project success
- Track loose and spare parts kits; record and provide First Time Quality (FTQ) feedback
- Occasionally travel to job sites to support Field Service Technicians with field installations
- Previous experience assembling and wiring control panels
- Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and bills of material
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and measurement skills
- Experience with light metal fabrication
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent documentation practices
- Hands-on experience using various hand tools and machinery
- Field service or installation experience is a plus
