We're seeking Electronic Assemblers to work for a globally recognized leader in providing state-of-the-art power distribution solutions located in Streetsboro. These are immediate Temp-To-Hire roles which will convert to a permanent position.
1st & 2nd Shifts Available
6:00 am - 2:30 pm Mon - Fri or 2:00 pm - 12:30 am Mon - Thur
Wage: $20 - $21 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret instructions such as work orders, diagrams, wire lists and verbal directions to determine materials needed in sequencing assembly of given product
- Fabrication and installation of flexibar as required
- Installation of larger power wires; inclusive of retrieving, crimp lugging and heat sleeve shrinking
- Inspection of parts, materials and assemblies to comply with company quality standards
- Become familiar with interpreting 3-D solid model viewers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Assembly in a manufacturing environment or transferrable mechanical experience
- Must have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow direction
- Ability to use hand tools & wire crimpers
Preferred Requirements
- Electrical assembly experience
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to navigate an array of computer programs
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended time periods, up to the entire eight-hour shift
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
- Must be able to reach above and forward at least 18 inches
- Must possess hand dexterity and install small hardware
- Must have good vision to inspect parts and assemblies
