General Manufacturing Operators

We have opportunities to allow you to move from a food or service industry position to a manufacturing career, or if you are already an assembler, move to a indoor manufacturing environment that is climate controlled.
Work for an established electronic chip and wafer fabrication company
Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Attleboro, MA and Warwick RI
  • Pay Rate: $16 per hour
  • Shift: Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • NO WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS!!
What will you be doing?
  • Train in diverse production areas including visual inspection, laser trimming, solder dipping, and electrical testing.
  • Handle small components and wafers with precision using tweezers.
  • Conduct detailed visual inspections of chip resistors and wafers using high-power microscopes.
  • Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Comply with safety regulations for handling hazardous chemicals when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace through routine cleaning and good work practices
Qualifications & Skills:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Steady work history
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Preferred but not required: cleanroom experience, mechanical aptitude, chemical handling experience, visual inspection experience, and experience with ISO 9000 certified companies.
  • Non THC drug screen and criminal background screen will be performed prior to placement
