Employee Training & Events Specialist – Danvers, MA
Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Employee Training & Events Specialist at one of our Global clients in Danvers, MA. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Pay: $30 min/open; plus benefits and PTO
Hours: M-F day shift plus overtime as needed for events and travel
Duration: contract through end of year
About the Team - We are a highly energetic, focused, and fun team responsible for managing customer-facing and internal events, meetings, and training programs for the Heart Recovery sector of the company. About You - You are an exceptionally detail-oriented events and training professional who delivers high quality work with clarity, organization, and creativity. You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including senior executives and manage multiple priorities with professionalism. You bring strong planning, executional, and presentation skills and can independently manage both short-term and long-term projects.
Scope of Work Key Responsibilities:
- You will assume key responsibilities to ensure continuity of training programs, events, planning cycles, and stakeholder support throughout the coverage period.
- Managing multiple simultaneous events and training programs 10+ at a time.
- Leading planning and execution for large, complex, or multi-day training programs, conferences, and internal events.
- Aligning event and training program objectives with broader organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Evaluating training and event effectiveness and producing data-based insights and reporting.
- Contributing to the development or refinement of team procedures, SOPs, and best practices.
- Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with spending guidelines.
- Coordinating event logistics, reservations, schedules, vendor needs, and onsite execution.
- Providing cross-functional event support to team members as needed.
- Training, coaching, or overseeing event support staff for assigned programs.
- Ensuring strict adherence to established SOPs and project governance requirements.
- Recommending and implementing improvements that drive positive event outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in communications or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in meeting and event planning; training program support experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Platforms specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Splash and Social Tables preferred but not required.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and frequently with stakeholders oral, written.
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
- Service-oriented, adaptable, and solution-focused working style.
- Ability to travel domestically, as required for assigned projects.
