Engine Test & Diagnostics Technician
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Pay Rate: $23–$30/hr DOE

What You'll Do:
•    Conduct performance and reliability testing on single and multi-cylinder engines, components, and systems.
•    Diagnose engine, system, and test cell issues, and implement solutions.
•    Operate data acquisition systems, review and document data, and maintain electronic files.
•    Build, tear down, and inspect engines and components. Fabricate brackets, tubing, and piping as needed.

What We're Looking For:
•    High school diploma/GED + 5 years of experience on gasoline or diesel engines, OR recent graduate of an accredited automotive/diesel trade school, OR an associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology.
•    Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools.
•    Experience with light fabrication: drilling, tapping, welding.
•    Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
