Location: Sunnyvale, California
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour
Contract Duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension or conversion based on company needs)

Position Summary
In this contract role, you will collaborate with diverse engineering teams to verify and validate hardware and firmware while engaging in hands-on testing and data analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your knowledge of industry standards and participate in critical Design of Experiment (DOE) and Design Input Requirement (DIR) verification activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist system verification engineers with a variety of systems development activities.
- Conduct hands-on hardware testing, including mechanical, optical, and electrical instrumentation, as well as consumables.
- Perform root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting of consumable parts, hardware, and software.
- Analyze and present data effectively to support engineering decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation skills.
- No prior experience required—enthusiasm for learning and growth is essential!
- Familiarity with general scientific Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Knowledge of design and development verification and validation processes.
- Understanding of optical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical hardware and firmware.
- Ability to perform repetitive arm, wrist, and finger motions.
- Capable of lifting objects weighing at least 20 lbs.
- Willingness to engage in typical hands-on lab work and travel to off-site vendors as needed.
