Shift: Second Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday (OT as needed)

Overview:
Kelly Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Technician to support our client—a global leader in advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside skilled Test Engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional environment supporting major OEMs across various sectors.


What You'll Do:

  • Assist Test Engineers in the development and commissioning of test solutions for production systems.
  • Execute test qualification of fixtures and programs in accordance with client-defined system processes.
  • Support the manufacturing and assembly of testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling as required.
  • Interface with both the Test Support and Manufacturing Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of test solutions.
  • Provide documentation and training for implemented test systems to internal teams.
  • Monitor and contribute to the improvement of test performance metrics (e.g., yields, uptime, intermittencies, and efficiency).
  • Collaborate with the Test Engineer to optimize test processes balancing cost-efficiency and coverage.
  • Coordinate test readiness activities aligned with the weekly production schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Need:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Experience & Skills:
  • 1–2 years of experience in electrical/electronic or computer component testing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of low voltage testing, test development, debugging (hardware and software)
  • Ability to read and modify test scripts; familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or C# is a plus
  • Solid understanding of schematics and experience in gathering test data to support failure trend analysis
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Prior experience with switchgear is a plus
