Hiring Experienced Builders/Assemblers
Location: Piney Flats, TN
Job Type: Temp to Hire/Full-Time Pay Rate & Shifts
- Starting Pay Rate: $15–$19 per hour
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:45 pm
- 2nd Shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am
- Must be able to train your 1st week 9am-5pm for both shifts & available to work mandatory OT/weekends as needed
- Perform duties according to current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct.
- Assemble sub-assemblies, install accessory components and materials, and wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagram.
- Inspect products to ensure conformity with quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
- Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products, utilizing lifting equipment when available.
- Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components.
- Complete and maintain all required electronic paperwork (checklists, blueprints, bar coding, shipping materials, etc.).
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to climb and balance
- Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel
- Must be able to visually inspect products
- Must have manual dexterity in hands for tool usage
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- 1–3 years of manufacturing and/or construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English
