Job Title: Facilities Lead
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm Job Summary:
The Facilities Lead plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of housekeeping, maintenance, and the overall upkeep of multiple office locations. This position is responsible for scheduling work orders, coordinating coverage for absences, assisting with the supervision of facilities staff, and ensuring effective communication among cross-functional teams. The Facilities Lead collaborates closely with the Facilities Supervisor to foster a safe, clean, and efficient workplace environment. Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for facilities staff.
  • Coordinate coverage for team absences, vacations, and emergencies.
  • Track and prioritize work orders and service requests.
  • Liaise with service providers as needed for repairs and external services.
  • Fill in for Facilities Specialists when necessary.
Team Support & Oversight
  • Assist the Facilities Supervisor in overseeing and supporting the facilities team.
  • Perform walkthroughs and inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide guidance to staff on procedures, safety protocols, and task execution.
  • Develop and implement workflow processes and guidelines.
  • Onboard and train new team members.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory.
  • Prepare operational reports and track metrics.
  • Monitor supply levels and submit procurement requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Serve as a point of contact between facilities staff and other departments.
  • Communicate scheduling changes, priorities, and updates promptly.
  • Support cross-department projects related to facilities operations.
  • Collaborate with teammates to accomplish daily tasks and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with good driving record.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in building maintenance skills: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and tool usage.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to lift and exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
  • Must possess good vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
  • Frequent driving and use of vehicles.
Work Environment:
  • Exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather, wet/humid conditions, and occasional risk of electrical shock.
  • Work performed in both quiet indoor spaces and loud outdoor environments.
  • Interaction with staff, customers, and outside vendors in a dynamic, busy setting.
  • Expected to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and care.
