Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $32 an hour with weekly pay on Friday's
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

What's a typical day as a Field Service Technician? You'll be:
- Building machinery using hand tools and measuring instruments while adhering to mechanical and electrical prints and project schedules.
- Installing equipment at customer locations, performing machine reassembly and testing to ensure functionality.
- Conducting product testing, setting up equipment to meet specifications, and following established test criteria.
- Training equipment operators and maintenance personnel to ensure comprehensive understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Troubleshooting customer issues over the phone, diagnosing problems using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Repairing or upgrading equipment on-site as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Completing job-related paperwork, including time scanning and providing updates to engineers.
- Assisting with final assembly and customer factory acceptance testing at our facility.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve common goals.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an automated industry or manufacturing environment.
- Hold an AA degree or have technical school training in mechanical, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Possess advanced knowledge of mechanical/electrical practices, electrical theory, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.
- Can follow detailed mechanical drawings and electrical schematics with precision.
- Are skilled in using precision measuring tools and hand, power, and air tools.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, standing, or kneeling for extended periods.
- Have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and good customer relation abilities.
- Are proficient with basic computer skills and fluent in Microsoft Office products.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong mechanical aptitude.
