Field Service Technician
As Field Service Representative FSR , you will be responsible for operations, maintenance and administration of one or more Water Production and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Sites within a specific area or Island. This includes, but is not limited to, operating start-up, shut-down, monitoring, adjusting, process troubleshooting, routine maintenance corrective, preventive, inspections, troubleshooting, customer support communication, engagement and response and Administration Process, Inventory, procurement, Maintenance, EH S, Time Management information Systems processes and systems. The FSR also known as the Operator, is expected to conduct all duties and responsibilities operating and maintaining systems in SWRO based Water Production and/or Wastewater Treatment Systems, with a priority to Health and Safety of him/herself, teammates, the Customer, Contractors, visitors and the Environment.
Technically oriented and skilled in repair and maintenance mechanical and/or electrical and/or control and/or piping systems, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
Focus on identifying root causes of system failures, trends in system failures and opportunities for continuous improvement in system performance.
Self-starter and collaborative, with the ability to execute both independently and as part of a Team. Detailed oriented with the ability to plan, communicate and follow-up.
Disposition for quality, innovation and continuous improvement of work processes.
Ability and willingness to communicate to Customer, Leaders and Team Members electronically, orally and in writing.
Ability to learn and to consistently apply Computer and Administrative skills as required.
Excellent timekeeping and time management skills, including planning and prioritization of daily tasks
Ability and willingness to operate forklift and licensed to operate a vehicle in the Commonwealth of the Puerto Rico. Normal senses of sight, hearing, smell and touch, with the ability to use these senses in the detection of deviations or defects.
Ability to walk, climb stairs and ladders and to safely lift to 40 lbs unassisted.
Duties Responsibilities Conducting routine daily, weekly, monthly, etc. checks of the Plant and it s systems, while collecting data, pictures, readings and recording observations and uploading same in the appropriate physical and/or electronic platforms.
Education
AD or Technical Degree.  Experience in related job.  Bilingual
