Join our team as a Fill Machine Operator and be responsible for the filling and sealing functions that are at the heart of our manufacturing process. This position offers the opportunity to work with specialized equipment, contribute to a high-quality product, and be a key part of our production team. We're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn!
Work schedule: 5:30am-2:00pm Mon-Fri.
- NOTE: current summer hours are Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 3:00pm and Friday 5:30am – 9:30am
Pay: $17.25/hour
Location: Maple Grove, MN

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery that performs the filling and sealing function.
- Perform set up, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret production orders, complete necessary paperwork, and perform basic math calculations.
- Set up machines according to product size specifications.
- Observe machine processing to ensure proper functioning and product quality, stopping or resetting machines when malfunctions occur.
- Use manual or electronic inventory systems to locate and record orders and inventory information.
- Perform general warehouse work, including using material moving/handling equipment to store and retrieve materials.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Follow the Quality Policy and perform specified quality assurance checks.
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas.
- Update electronic systems and databases as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year or more of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be reliable with great attendance!
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents related to the job.
- Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization.
- Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Must have the ability to complete assignments within the time frame specified by the Manager.
- Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends with or without advanced notice.
- Comfortable wearing required safety gear (eyewear, steel toes, gloves).
- May require training and certification in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- The employee is regularly required to execute physical activities within the production areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
