Description

Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in our manufacturing process—focusing on safety, quality, and productivity by following our Skills Matrix and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Wearing required PPE at all times
  • Retrieving packaging items using forklift or pallet jack
  • Labeling packaging in compliance with company and DOT requirements
  • Safely operating equipment to fill packaging items
  • Filling and sealing packaging in accordance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards
  • Measuring or weighing chemicals into designated containers following instructions
  • Scanning packaged items and loading trucks as needed
  • Reporting damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
  • Completing batch tickets and log documentation accurately
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and dry work area
  • Taking on other duties or special projects as assigned
WHAT WE EXPECT
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Technician experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions
  • Adaptability and sound judgment in fast-paced situations
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain safe, clean workspace
  • Willingness and ability to operate a sit-down forklift (training provided)
  • Proficiency in basic computer tasks (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly; able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
