Kelly is seeking a Financial Advisor to work with our client, a major American financial services organization offering personalized financial advice and wealth management services, on a direct hire basis. The Financial Advisor will work at the independent branch level under the leadership of one of the most successful franchisees in the region.
Specifically, the Financial Advisor will:
- Practice a consultative, goal?based wealth management approach to understand clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance, and life goals
- Provide tailored investment advice and planning recommendations across a spectrum of solutions: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments, etc.
- Assist clients with broader financial needs, such as retirement planning, education funding, insurance & risk management, lending solutions, estate planning, and tax?aware strategies
- Proactively manage and grow the client base through referral generation, networking, community outreach, centers of influence, and events
- Execute a consistent client relationship management process: onboarding, review meetings, ongoing service, and retention strategies
- Coordinate with internal support specialists to deliver comprehensive advice and escalate client needs appropriately
- Use technology tools, planning platforms, and CRM systems to track client data, produce proposals, manage portfolios, and report performance
- Support or lead local events (seminars, workshops) to educate clients and prospects, coordinate logistics, invite guests, and follow up
- Monitor market conditions, trends, and regulatory changes; educate and communicate with clients to keep them informed
- Active FINRA Series 7 license
- Active FINRA Series 66 license
- Strong client-facing financial services or advisory experience
- Go-getter attitude - best suited for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset; someone who sees opportunity, takes action, and doesn't just show up to punch a clock
- Proven track record in business development, relationship management, and retention
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, ability to prospect and grow book of business
- Familiarity with financial planning tools, portfolio analytics, and CRM systems
- Salaried position
- 3-5+ years of experience: $100-150k for licensed professionals with strong tenure and steady success
- 10+ years of experience: $200k+ for licensed professionals with strong tenure and steady success
- Candidates with an established book of business may be eligible for enhanced compensation
