Job Description:
The Financial Analyst will perform complex analyses related to budgets, strategic plans, and product line performance. This position is responsible for developing and managing intricate financial models and monthly reporting packages to support ongoing strategic business operations and initiatives. The role will involve close collaboration with Finance, business unit leaders, and senior leadership, requiring executive presence and the ability to influence and guide critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will thrive in an unstructured and fast-paced environment, taking initiative to drive results.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with leadership and department budget owners to provide insights into the latest trends, aiding stakeholders in making informed decisions.
  • Gather and analyze key divisional and portfolio performance metrics, communicating these metrics from detail to summary level.
  • Lead presentations to all levels of management within the organization.
  • Identify risks and issues, providing recommendations for process improvements to internal stakeholder teams and leading the implementation of changes.
  • Create and manage complex financial models, benefit determinations, and forecasting efforts.
  • Communicate complex analyses in a concise and organized manner to both financial and non-financial senior leadership.
  • Provide consultative services to business partners and senior leaders.
  • Review financial report analyses prepared by the team, including variance and staffing analyses, as well as corporate reporting of budget and actual metrics.
  • Develop and analyze cost-saving opportunities, measuring against metrics to assess financial success.
  • Perform other related duties and ad hoc analyses as needed across the company.
  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for efficient data utilization.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance with 5 years of experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting; or 8 years of relevant experience in IT financial operations.
  • Strong customer service skills, including managing customer expectations and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Smartview.
  • Familiarity with business and financial models, business cases, and forecasting.
  • One year of coaching or mentoring experience.
