First Level Technical Support Representative
Working Arrangement: Rotational shifts, 24x7x365 (must be available for all shifts; schedule changes every 2 weeks)
Compensation:

  • Standard: $21.50/hr
  • 2nd Shift: $22.36/hr
  • Overnight: $22.94/hr
    Type: Temporary (2-year term, with potential for permanent conversion)

What you'll be doing:
  • Responding to inbound calls and emails, delivering first-level technical support
  • Accurately documenting problems and ticketing issues for follow-up
  • Escalating and tracking technical issues as needed
  • Identifying and raising broad-impact outages or trends
  • Continuing to learn and support additional technologies and applications

Must have:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Above-average computing and navigational ability
  • Familiarity with Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint)
  • Technical support experience or relevant education (troubleshooting)
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware and components

Nice to have:
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems
  • Technical diploma/degree or related IT certification

Additional Information:
  • Must be able to work all three shifts (schedule rotates every two weeks)
  • No time off allowed first week of training; limited time off in the first month (manager approval required)
